Graduate Student Symposium
GSS 2025 will be hosted by USM’s Gulf Coast Research Laboratory in Ocean Springs, Mississippi.
The Graduate Student Symposium (GSS) is an annual regional conference that is alternately hosted by the Dauphin Island Sea Lab (DISL), University of Southern Mississippi (GCRL), and Louisiana Universities Marine Consortium (LUMCON). The hallmark of GSS is that the meeting is exclusively hosted by and attended by graduate students.
While these three institutions alternate hosting the conference, GSS is open to any graduate student that wants to attend. In previous years, attendees ranged from universities from Texas to Florida - any graduate student is welcome!
