Each month NOAA's Coastal Ecosystem Learning Centers Network brings experts together to learn more about the real-life versions of the Octonauts sea creatures and the ocean they call home. The Octonauts is a children's cartoon, and in each episode, they take on a mission. In Episode 5, a school flying fish accidentally make off with a rare book belonging to Professor Inkling, and the team races to get it back.
DISL's Discovery Hall Programs Chair Dr. Tina Miller-Way and Aquarium Curator Brian Jones joined the CELC team on their podcast to answer questions about the flying fish that the Octonauts were chasing.
