As a native Chicagoan, Anna first came to the Mobile area as a student at the University of South Alabama. During her time as a student, she spent a summer at the Dauphin Island Sea Lab taking classes.

After receiving her bachelor’s degree, she returned to the Chicago area for some time working with Harmful Algal Blooms. With time, Anna found her way back to Dauphin Island in 2022 and is now a full time Aquarist at the Alabama Aquarium on campus.

She enjoys hiking and exploring the wetlands throughout the Mobile Area with her friends and family.
